BILBA IS CREATED
After gaining experience working for their father’s company, the Borrego brothers set up their own company. Their journey begins with minor construction works and the first satisfied customers.
For the first time, our annual turnover exceeds one million euros, with a portfolio mainly based on refurbishments and restorations.
FIRST STEPS TOWARDS PROFESSIONALISATION
We hire our first technicians to oversee the completion of the works.
We undertake large-scale projects, while also adding new areas of expertise: schools, public buildings, civil engineering, etc.
Our family is growing, with over 150 employees now on our staff.
We open new facilities in Álora, 10,000 m2 of offices, workshops and warehouses.

As the same time as we launch a new corporate identity, we start the process necessary to complete the professionalisation of the company, by creating an organizational chart and establishing a board of directors to allows us to consolidate our project.
We implement SAP Business One as our information management system.
Far-reaching improvements are made to enable the analytical and financial control of our production processes.

LOOKING TOWARDS THE FUTURE
Bilba’s Madrid office is opened, strategically located to allow us to consolidate our geographic expansion.
At the same time, we open our central office in Estepona, to provide support for the large productions centres that we have set up on the Costa del Sol.

The company is consolidating its position in the sector with an order book worth more than 100 million euros, including projects that stand out due to their scale and impact.
We take our first steps towards becoming a global company, by opening premises in Gibraltar.
