The symbolic hotel complex by Hilton international chain, located in Reserva del Higuerón, accomplishes an ambitious project to upgrade its category. The American architect Robin Chiang signs a comprehensive renovation and expansion of up to 290 bedrooms, a conference room, restaurants, sports areas and pools. The result will allow the hotel to be part of Curio, the brand luxury segment, and so become the third Higuerón Hotel establishment with this category in Spain.
After working for eight months, Bilba manages to meet deadlines, which will make it easier to reopen the hotel on the dates set by the hotel company.
The first phase is already delivered, 177 renovated bedrooms, new common areas and restaurant, the sports club and pool areas.
The second phase will end with 133 new premium suites and four basements with over 200 new car parks.
Turning the Málaga Higuerón Hotel into the new hallmark of Hilton on the Costa del Sol means a true construction challenge for Bilba. To do so, they have made a significant productive effort with more than a hundred staff dedicated exclusively to the project, who have proved a daily commitment to accomplish the goal.
